With the advent of the COVID19, the World of Business has changed dramatically and the majority of the changes deal directly with HEALTH and well being. To River Country that means the Health and well being of Our customers and or Staff. We want to make sure that all at River Country stay healthy and thereby stay happy.
Ricer Country is taking a hardline approach to safety concerning this "Pandemic" and are striving do do our best and keeping all safe by using the CDC Guidelines, as guidelines for our working environment here in Point Pleasant.
There are a number of changes as to the work flow here at River Country, begining with our Staff and the procedure for working at River Country. Hopefully the changes will maintain a safer environment for your fellow workers as well as our visiting guests ( Also known as Customers ). THe other changes deal with how customers arrive, check-in, and are directed to the area they belong.
Beginning with Staff Members;
1. All Staff members are to be issued 5 high grade cloth washable, reusable masks that MUST BE WORN while working at River Country.
2. IF YOU ARE SICK, OR FEEL SICK DO NOT COME TO WORK! PLEASE CALL AND INDICATE THAT YOU ARE SICK. When arriving at River Country If you feel sick, you must have your temperature taken, by a non-contact thermometer. If your temperature is over 100, you will not be permitted to work.
3. Please practice social distancing while at River Country, meaning maintain 6 feet between yourself and others. CUSTOMERS AND YOUR FELLOW WORKERS.
4. "Outside Employees" are to wash their hands approx. every 30 minutes, at the new employee sink close to the gas pump area.
5. Keep your distance from customers, as in 6 feet. Do not be afraid to nicely ask them to maintain a distance if they start getting in your face.
6. The rule is that ALL customers and employees are required to wear a mask while on River Country Property. This is to protect you , your family, and our customers.

3. When Tubing Customers return to River Country (the beach) they will be asked to return their Tubes and lifejackets to the Tube bin/ or empty bus for "fogging" by the Gas pumps, or YTBD area.
4. When Boating Customers return to the beach, beach workers will be required to drag the boats off to an area and spray them with anti-viral solution, rinsed and then racked.
5. After each Bus Run, a bus will have to be parked on the front lawn of the Barn or River Dan's back yard ( also YTBD) and de-fogged by a trained "fogging" employee.
6. The Tube Bin by the gas pumps will have to be checked every half hour to see if they are full, and if so they must be fogged and the tubes returned to the bins at the bus lane.

- Customers will approach the entrance to RC and be warned by Sign #1 ( and an employee stationed adjacent to the entrance gate) the employee will indicates the need to already have an online order (reservation), and if not they should turn at the circle and go to the barn front yard where we will have some safety cones order to make a reservation, there is NO ENTRANCE TO RIVER COUNTRY WITHOUT AN ON-LINE RESERVATION. ( Unless there is a light reservation day and we permit them to park in the lot , management will make this decision as we need to.
- Customers will drive their car down to one of the check-in tables where an attendant will ask them for the name associated with their reservation. Attendant will issue the proper number of wristbands for the activities that were reserved. Attendant will then ask for a completed liability release form for all occupants of the car. If they don’t have the forms the attendant will give them forms and pens to fill out the forms IN THEIR CARS before exiting their cars.
- Attendant will instruct the customer to proceed on the sidewalk leading from the check-in tables to the liability acceptance table by the T-shirt trailer where the liability forms will be accepted while following the BLUE arrows maintaining 6 feet between people.
- From the Liability release table, customers will be told to proceed to the Main side walk following the arrows so they can Check their keys at the T-shirt Trailer or to purchase food if they wish, and then proceed up the midway to the “star” where Dan stands. A worker will then direct the customer to the boat line where they can get the lifejackets and paddles HANDED to them. They are then directed to get to the bleachers for the BOAT Bus.
- If the customers want to go Tubing, then the The Star worker will direct them to enter the Tubing line and work their way through to the “new line” and END UP AT THE AREA WHERE THE TUBES ARE. Customers will be handed a tube/s. by AN OUTSIDE WORKER ONLY, THE EMPLOYEE WILL GIVE THE CUSTOMER TUBES THAT MATCH THE WRISTBANDS. Customers will then proceed to the bus line maintaining social distancing.
