Bucks County River Country, located in Point Pleasant, Pennsylvania, has been providing family oriented fun since 1969. That makes us the oldest Canoe, Kayak, Raft, and river tube outfitter in Bucks County. Due to our location on the Delaware River in Point Pleasant, we serve such towns and villages as New Hope, Doylestown, Frenchtown, Lambertville, Milford New Jersey, Upper Black Eddy PA, and Stockton. Although the listed towns and villages are for the most part adjacent to the Delaware river, we also offer Tubing, Kayaking, Rafting, and Canoeing trips to Allentown, Bethlehem PA, Easton PA, and as far South as Delaware, Southeren New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Maryland.
We offer group discounts for Churches, Camps, Day Camps, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. We also can formulate custom rafting, canoeing, kayaking, or river tubing trips merely by contacting Dan Breen, (also known as River Dan). Dan Breen can customize a Delaware river tubing adventure, a Delaware river kayaking adventure, a Delaware river Canoeing adventure or a Delaware river rafting adventure.
Bucks County River Country formely known as Point Pleasant Canoe rental, started in 1969 by Thomas McBrien with 3 canoes, Point Pleasant Canoe blossomed over the years and expanded from a few canoe trips on the Delaware Canal, to designing custom inner tubes with 2 custom chambers for safety, for floating down the Delaware river. Tom, ran the company for about 35 years before retiring in the year 2000. Before Tom retired he changed the name to bucks County river Country and amassed the largest selection of Canoes, Kayaks, Rafts and river tubes in Pennsylvania.
Today Bucks County River Country has over four thousand specially designed river tubes, 200 sit-in kayaks, 200 canoes, and about 200 new for 2010 white water rated river rafts.
All ages are welcome at Bucks County River Country, and we offer free lifejackets to all customers. We also offer unique double tube for tubing with your mate or child, we call that our "Snuggle tube"
Bucks County River Country is open mid May to the end of October seven days a week. Our in season hours are from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm every day.
